Our mead is made from our raw and ethically source honey harvested in the mountains of Chalatenango, El Salvador.
Local beekeepers earn a living by helping Nooma Honey manage its beehives and harvest its delicious honey. Jobs are scarce in these communities and providing a stream of consistent income empowers local beekeepers to provide financial stability for their families.
SAVE THE BEES!
Bees are essential to our own survival, without them many of our favorite fruits and vegetables would disappear. Nooma Honey is committed to protecting bees to ensure they are always with us. We don’t over-harvest, we shield our beehives from adverse natural conditions and guard them against predators.
Doing Good Is Good Business
We believe in doing good in the communities we do business in. Nooma Honey provides free training for new beekeepers, we honor fair trade by compensating local beekeepers with 100% of their asking price and invest in infrastructure projects that benefit the community.
